Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not required. The quote tool gathers gender, birthdate, your self-assessment of health, tobacco history, desired coverage amount, and term length. Six facts are sufficient for carriers to provide rates. Personal identification, address, and detailed medical records are requested only if you proceed to an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These represent what each carrier quotes for the health classification you selected. Carriers determine your actual premium and final classification through underwriting review, which might confirm your class, move you to a better one, or assign a different tier. Nothing displayed here constitutes an insurance offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name to proceed; the application pulls from your selected quote and transfers to the carriers' secure online platform. You may exit and come back later; electronic signing completes the process. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurance agency (License 0B75129), manages the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
The answer depends on the insurer, coverage level, and information you provide. Carriers now frequently decide without an exam for eligible customers via accelerated underwriting; each quote indicates whether an exam is required, may be requested, or is not necessary.
Is a longer term better?
Choose a duration that matches when dependents would need that income: outstanding debts, supporting children, or a mortgage. Extending the term increases monthly cost but guarantees a fixed rate for that whole span. You can side-by-side compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options using the quote tool.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool does not gather contact information; we don't sell or distribute user data; and measurement here is cookie-free. Visit the privacy policy page to see the complete details of what information is recorded and which parties receive it.
